Purpose & Destiny

Purpose- “The reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists”

Destiny- “To set apart or appoint for a certain purpose or person to do something intended or designed”

I have heard people say time and time again “I don’t know what my purpose is”, or ”I have no purpose” To be clear everyone has a purpose. As long as you live to see another day this means you have a purpose and you are not done fulfilling it.

Yes sometimes it can be along road to discovering your purpose but here are somethings not to do along the way:

–Doubt yourself

-Think negatively

-Fear failure

-Down talk yourself or others

– Procrastinate

To know your purpose is to be aware of who you are as a person. Once you know yourself you know what your strengths and weaknesses are, and hopefully you realizes that there is greatness inside of you!

God’s purpose for our lives is summed up in love. He chose before the very foundation of the world, and the earth was created with you in mind. He called you according to his purpose to be holy and blameless before him in love. God loves us so much he has created us all with different purposes, different destinies, and different outlooks on life.

We are all unique in this sense, just think about it, in all of the world there will never be another you! Isn’t that amazing?

Now most of the time our purpose is our talent or something that we can't escape from, seeing as you can not escape your purpose.

Have you ever repeatedly heard the same complement from different people about something you do extremely well? Probably better than many other people? Usually this is a clue to your purpose. Stick with your talent and work to improve it more and more each day. You weren’t given it to waste it. Or maybe you are good at talking to people. Don’t pass up an opportunity to help someone in need of a friend. God blessed you with this gift to be a blessing unto others. Don’t abuse your blessing.

God created all of us with our own unique treasure inside, but sometimes we overlook them because we get to consumed into thoughts of the world instead of focusing spiritually. And sometimes we doubt our talents because we worry too much about what others think. Well, what do you think? Do you not define yourself and your journey? Exactly, you do define yourself and your journey so why let someone else determine your destiny or capabilities? Silly right?
